# Change your colors and display mode

> Choose Light, Dark, or System and set your accent color.

Choose how AgencyMesh looks from any signed-in page, such as [Dashboard](https://app.agencymesh.app/). For your script name and status messages, use [User preferences](/help/user-preferences/).

## Choose a mode

1. In the top bar, open **User menu** (person icon) > **Appearance**.
2. Choose **Light**, **Dark**, or **System**. System follows your device’s setting. Your open form and search stay in place.

For a quick switch, click the top-bar sun or moon-and-stars icon. It shows the current mode and switches to the other one. System hides this button. New accounts start in Light.

## Choose an accent color

1. Open **User menu > Accent color**, or click **Change accent color** in the top bar.
2. Pick a color, use **Custom**, or enter a **Hex color**. Click **Save color**. To restore blue, click **Reset to AgencyMesh blue**, then **Save color**.

The preview changes buttons, tabs, and links; status colors stay the same. **Cancel** drops the preview. Your company can hide this choice by using custom branding; your saved color returns if personal colors are enabled again.

## Where your choice is saved

- **Agent account:** follows you across devices.
- **Office account:** shared by anyone using that account in the same browser. Choose separately in another browser.
- Tabs in the same browser update together. Sign-in and signup pages follow the device; customer signing pages stay Light.
- If saving fails, AgencyMesh returns to the previous mode. Choose again, or sign in again if the message asks you to.
