# Follow up with customers

> Find the next lead, quote, or renewal call and record what happened.

Open [Dashboard](https://app.agencymesh.app/) > **Action Items**. Contact the customer first, then save the outcome. Changing a status does not call or send a message. In **Quotes**, **To-Do Calls**, or **Leads**, **Script** below the status opens your agency’s wording. [Script steps](/help/training-documents-and-scripts/#training-call-script).

## Work or add leads

1. Open **Leads** and use **View** for details. After contact, choose the row’s **Status**. Any value except **None** removes it from the open queue.
2. To find past leads or reopen one, use [Leads Report](https://app.agencymesh.app/ill/illSearch). See [Add and follow up with leads](/help/lead-management/).

Managers and Administrators can use [Add Leads](https://app.agencymesh.app/ill/addILL) or [Leads Upload](https://app.agencymesh.app/ill/illUpload). Administrators can set up [Google Sheets imports](/help/leads-sync/).

## Work quotes and renewal calls

1. Open **Quotes**, use **Search due quotes...**, then **View**. After contact, choose the outcome under **Contact Today**. **Called** and **Sent SMS** record today’s work; quotes may return until **Sold**, **Rewrite**, or **DNC** (Do not contact).
2. Open **To-Do Calls** for renewal follow-up. After contact, choose **Status**. Choices depend on the call type; see [Renewal calls](/help/ams-todos/).
